The Search Engine Experiment
Whilst surfing I found this interesting blind test you can take to find out which search engine is best for you. You type in a search term and it looks up the results on the top three search engines: MSN, Yahoo and of course Google and reports back the results. However what it does is show the results in a generic form so you can’t tell which engine they came from, so as not to bias your vote.
I took the test a few times and was surprised that I got mostly MSN, a few Yahoo’s and absolutely no Google’s as my prefered engine. I use Google almost exclusively but will try the other two for a few weeks to see how I go now.
