Work life balance for $1 billion
Facebook a social networking site similar to MySpace or Orkut has been in negotiations with the likes of Yahoo!, Viacom and Microsoft. Sums of money in the region of $1 billon (US) have been discussed. However the 22 year old founder Mark Zuckerberg who owns a 30% stake in Facebook hasn’t changed his ways according the this Wall Street Journal article (registration required):
“During one series of talks with Microsoft, Facebook executives told their Microsoft peers they couldn’t do an 8 a.m. conference call because the company’s 22-year-old founder and chief executive, Harvard dropout Mark Zuckerberg, wouldn’t be awake, says a person familiar with the talks. Microsoft executives were incredulous.”
